And a description, even!... No, seriously, this took me a while to figure out.

Just a heads up! Don’t forget that since yesterday, the first DLC for NA ACNL has been released!

The raccoon clock is only available at Best Buy -and those listed as a Nintendo Zone hotspot.
Apparently some people have been complaining about their Best Buy not having a Nintendo Zone, even if on the list…so we’ll see.
Full article here.

I really want that clock!

eek these are really cool and I’m super glad that it’s not a gamestop thing anymore!!
(I dont have a 3DS tho)

On the “No Nintendo Zone” thing? I actually got my clock yesterday. Yours may actually have one if it’s on the list, it’s just that the Nintendo Zone hot spot, at least at mine, was RIDICULOUSLY SMALL. It was also unmarked, and located like twelve feet from the Nintendo stuff. I had to go searching for a while before finding it, going into the nearest aisle, losing it, panicking, almost giving up a couple times and/or crying, and finally finding it right up against the Call of Duty display and clinging to the cardboard until I could figure out how to actually download it. The employees at the store I was at didn’t seem to have a clue what I was talking about or how to go about downloading it, so let me sum it up:
- Go into Best Buy.
- Open Nintendo Zone app.
- Search for Nintendo Zone spot until you find one. Once you have a connection, CLING TO IT, because the access point appears to have a range of six inches.
- Enter the Best Buy one. I’m not certain if it’s entirely necessary, but this is what I did.
- Once you have that, you can probably close the Nintendo Zone app and enter Animal Crossing. Make sure to have Spot Pass on, go to the Post Office, ask about a gift, get it and save.
All in all, though? I’ll be honest, I understand the issues people have with Gamestop, but in my experience with content giveaways there employees knew what was going on and it wasn’t that hard to find the access point. It may just have been me not phrasing things right or going on the first day, but it was certainly frustrating.
Either way, if you can’t get to a Best Buy, see if you have a friend who does, because you can order them from the catalog once you get Nookling’s.

oh? so if a friend of mine who does get this and obtains it.. I can just order this from their catalog in their world? (I’ll get a 3DS at some point hehe just wondering)

Not certain of that. I’m pretty sure catalogs are personal and tied to the player? But you can have the friend order another one and then give it to you as a trade or something.

LIKE THEY BITE IT AND THEN I HIT A RIGHT WHEN THEY DO BUT THEN THEY SWIM AWAY

WHY CANT THEY JUST STAY ON THE HOOK????

AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG???????

Sharks are REALLY tough. Personally, I have an easier time catching things when I have the volume turned up, so that I start mashing A right when I hear that splashing noise. Someone also noticed they’re more likely to bite three times before sinking, so you can start as they go in for the last bite, but that’s not a guaranteed thing.

If nothing else, wait until you can get the silver fishing rod, that might help. You’ll get the hang of it, don’t worry.

With absolutely no char to speak of after yet another fruitless evening of searching, I have begun CHARQUEST. (Pictures forthcoming)

Tomorrow, I am going time traveling for some goddamn char.

So… uu is kind of a dumbass, isn’t he.

The fanon is that the cherubim are like twelve in equivalent species age measurements. Not certain how we got that number, but he certainly seems more immature than the others were, so I buy it.

Um… the beta kids were thirteen in the beginning. But I was mostly referenced the fact that this guy is a moron. The weird tastes in porn notwithstanding.

Oh god yes.

Twelve-year-olds are the biggest shitheads ever. Literally, even thirteen-year-olds are not as big shitheads as twelve-year-olds are.

FINALLY caught that stupid Trevally the other night, along with a Gar last night. Only one fish I still need for this month… sadly, it’s a char. Stupid char. Tempted to just time travel tonight until I get one, what with their stupidly short time windows.

The Scarab Beetle was obtained last night, WITHOUT any time travel, on the Island. It’s hard to tell them from the fruit beetles, but they are available in June, contrary to the guides I’ve seen thus far.

And now the second floor of the museum is open! So I immediately bought the silver fishing rod and net. I still need a tarantula, so hopefully this’ll help!
